Heh, clarification
There are two locations on the site that you can find buried squffies just by clicking on them, but one isn't done yet. You can also find dreys through random events. When the rescuing is done, the people who dug out the most dreys get various prizes. (Hint: Seymose has also been buried.) For those asking about my files: Yes, they were unreachable, but then my dad got them back after a week. (This is the highly simplified non-techie version of the incident). Woooow it
Edit The storm is over, but there's so much snow! There are many dreys snowed in and the squffies are stuck inside. One of the elder squffies is organizing rescue teams, and promising rewards to anyone who helps dig out trapped squffies from the snow. Maybe you should go help? /Edit Ok, so for those who saw my post about how much music I have? It crashed my external hard drive. With all my Squffies files on it. Now, because we are a very efficient family that has all the techie bases covered- Dad does hardware, Mom does software, I do web- I went to my dad and made puppy eyes and he finally FIXED IT. So I have my files back! And can code again! Short version: Finishing up the blizzard thing which wasn't supposed to last this long (poor snowed in Squffies). Should be done in the next day or two, depending on how much time the "little bit of Christmas undecorating" Mom coerced me into tomorrow morning will take. I suppose I never officially mentioned it, but there's a winter layout now (I'm sure you noticed :D) Anyone who TPed more than 50 dreys during the TPing craze has a new badge. Tealya has one, if you're curious. Since I failed at Halloween, I'm working on a winter event. Hopefully will occur soon. Fey squffy will also hopefully occur soon. //EDIT "TPing" refers to the time in Halloween when you could throw toilet paper on other people's dreys, as Zoink explained. I also just updated the owner badges; anyone who's bought a species they didn't have since I first distributed badges will have a surprise new badge. //ANOTHER EDIT Fey squffy has been added to the custom tester. ~~PLEASE NOTE not all appearance traits are uploaded quite yet. -As Tealya said, go get your free December item! (Or items, if you're upgraded) -Seymose's December items are up -After reading the comments on my last question, what I think might be best: Have the three be separate BUT Have an area where you browse the latest items available, whether trades, auctions or sales (with a filter available if you just want to see one kind) AND have the search function search all three areas (with similar filters) That sound like an acceptable compromise? Quick comment and a QUESTION.
1. Go to your profile setup (click on your username in the top left) to remove toilet paper. Only one more day; it leaves in December. 2. On websites such as Squffies, all the different pages are connected in various ways. To make building the new site as uncomplicated as possible, I'm mapping it out as much as possible before I even start to code it. However, I'd like your opinions on the new Trading Circle before I start mapping it (since the current version is iffy at best, even after the rebuild). Would you prefer: A) Separate user shops, trading circle, and auction circle or B) Have the trading circle combine all three functions? I'm currently leaning towards B, but I'm a coder, not a player.
